DailyLens pulls a still frame from your Ring camera on the schedule you set — every 5/10/30 minutes, hourly, or daily. Captures run in the background; no need to keep the app open.
On any timeline, tap the camera button to grab a snapshot immediately — useful for testing your setup or capturing a specific moment.
Going on vacation, or just don't need captures for a while? Pause any timeline from the dashboard. Resume any time — your existing photos stay intact.
Track different cameras or different schedules on the same camera as separate timelines. Front yard at 5 minutes, garden at hourly, garage at daily — your call.
Star the snapshots you love. Add a quick note to remember what you were seeing ("first snow," "blooms started"). Filter your timeline to favorites only.
Pick any snapshot to be your timeline's cover image on the dashboard. Long-press a photo in the lightbox and choose "Set as cover."
Assign a color to each timeline card so you can spot them at a glance. Especially useful if you have several timelines on the dashboard.
When a timeline hits 2,880 snapshots, it auto-flips to "Archive Full" so you don't lose old captures. Delete some photos and tap Reactivate to start capturing again.
Build a smooth time-lapse video from any date range, at any speed (1–60 frames per second). Perfect for showing the bloom of a garden or the construction of a project.
Pick any two snapshots — from the same timeline or different ones — and view them side by side. Great for before/after comparisons or seasonal shots from the same angle.
Snapshots upload to your own free Cloudinary account using credentials you provide. DailyLens never holds a shared image bucket — you own and control your photos.
DailyLens does not run facial recognition, object detection, or any AI on your snapshots. They're stored exactly as Ring delivers them. Your data is never used to train any model.
Delete an individual photo, an entire timeline, or your whole account from Settings. Account deletion wipes your DailyLens database AND the photos DailyLens uploaded to your Cloudinary — under 60 seconds.
Add DailyLens to your home screen for a full-screen, native-app experience — no browser bar, faster launch. Settings → Install as App.
Pick the theme that suits the time of day or your preference. Settings → Appearance. Your choice is remembered across sessions.
